One hotel brief, five complete websites
A sample brief turned into five design directions on one content file, each with working booking, reservations and an owner dashboard.
- 5 directions
- Booking + reservations
- Owner dashboard

The brief
A sample brief: a 20-room boutique hotel with an all-day restaurant in a restored 1891 brick building. The owner wants guests to book direct instead of through booking sites. Scioto House is a placeholder name; this is a concept to show range, not a commissioned project.
What we built
- Five genuinely different design directions, from editorial to after-dark luxury
- Room booking in four steps, with live price, tax, promo code and a confirmation code
- Table reservations, a menu with diet filters and search, and manage-or-cancel booking
- Contact and event enquiries, an FAQ and a newsletter
- An owner dashboard to edit rooms, prices, menu and hours in one place

The hard parts
- Five looks without five codebases: one content file and one set of flows behind every direction
- Every flow working in every direction, on every screen size
- Research first: seven hotel and restaurant sites measured before any design
- Built with
- Vite, vanilla JavaScript modules, no framework
- Status
- Concept. Built to show range; not a commissioned client.
